GeMiC 2024 will be held in the Mercator Conference Center (Philharmonie) in downtown Duisburg on March 11-13, 2024. The conference venue is conveniently located near major business hotels and Duisburg main train station, all in short walking distance. From Duisburg main station, Düsseldorf airport is easily reached in 10 minutes (one stop).
University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) is located in the heart of the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan area. In total, 40.000 students are enrolled at UDE; the faculty of engineering counts more than 10.000 students. Focused research areas include THz and 6G, nanoengineering, and biomedical sciences.

By Car: A parking garage is in the direct vicinity of the Mercatorhalle. For Navigation systems use the following address: Averdunkstraße 1, 47051 Duisburg. We suggest to use the City Palais or Averdunk garage. Both garages are open 24/7 and costs 2€ per hour with a maximum of 12€ for 24 hours.
